ProAgri Media publishes ProAgri magazine, an agricultural magazine for commercial and emerging farmers. ProAgri is a publication of Agri Media Africa (Pty) Ltd. Our aim is simple: put practical, usable farming knowledge in the hands of farmers across Africa.

• Free calculators covering crops, soil and water, and livestock. They run in your browser and need no sign-up.
• The ProAgri e-newsletter, sent twice a week to subscribers from growagri.co.za.

Editorial standards

• Our guides are general information. They are reviewed against published agronomic sources.
• They are not a substitute for advice from an agronomist, veterinarian or extension officer who knows your farm, soil and climate. Local conditions vary widely across Africa.
• Spotted an error? Email natasha@proagri.co.za and we will check it and correct the guide.
